Okay, while to assume is to make an
ass out of
u and
me, I assume you all understand our little
concept of a 24 hour day. And each of those 24 hours is divided into 60 minutes, and each of those 60 minutes is divided into
60 seconds. How on earth does this make so much sense? Wait I am on earth and to others it makes sense, but non the less it
si qutie challenging to figure out how to add times together. I have already figured that minutes and seconds only go up to
60 so there is never a time that is 6:66, I mean why else would you chose those denominations? Of course this is no dissimilar
to my concept that if humans evolved with 12 fingers and toes in which case the first 2 digit number would have a value of
12 in our current system and defeats the superiority of the SI(metric) standard of measurement. Wellthen why cant there be
7 seconds? You shoudl really count like this 1,2,3,4,5,6,11,12,13,14,15,16,21,... and so on but alas the stupidity of humanity
triumphs again. Now if scientists are so smart then how come their SI or metric unit of time is still the ordinary second.
Micro-seconds make sense but anything above that is messed up.
Now you probably think I am just a bumbling idiot with too much time on my hands and this paragraph
is just to disprove one of those things(I hope). The earth spins at nearly the same rate each da so instead of dividing it
into 24 hours, lets make it 10 kilocycles. A kilocycles being similar to hours yet not. Now each of those 10 kilocycles will
be divided into 100 hecto-cycles which are similar to minutes yet not. Finally each hectocycle is divided into 100 cycles
which would be my equivalent of seconds. Now after your done calling me a nerd I was really bored in a lot of physics classes
last year when I wrote this and I made a chart.
1 Orbital cycle(1 year) = 12 Lunar cycles(12 months)
1 Lunar cycle (1 month) = 5 Mega cycles(5 weeks)
30 or 31 Solar cycles (30, 31 days)
1 Mega cycle(1 week) = 6 Solar cycles(6 days)
1 Solar cycle (I day) = 10 kilocycles (24 hours)
1 kilocycle (2.4 hours) = 100 hectocycles (144 minutes)
1 hectocycle (1.44 minutes) = 100 cycles (86.4 seconds)
January - 30 Solar cycles
February - 31 Solar cycles
March - 30 Solar cycles
April - 31 Solar cycles
May - 30 Solar cycles
June - 31 Solar cycles
July - 30 Solar cycles
August - 31 Solar cycles
September - 30 Solar cycles
October - 31 Solar cycles
November - 30 Solar cycles
December - 30 or 31 Solar cycles (leap year)
Now do I want \us all to conform to this immediately or really at all for that matter. This is
really just to Erase the Unquestioned, to propose an alternate to a perfectly stable widley understood concept and basic "fact".
That and I think I sound like some weird utopian type dude who watched too many Transformers episodes with their fancy cycles
and all. Hey if I was only a writer I could start my own line of Sci-Fi books. I hope your brain is thoroughly rattled because
my classes are now hard and I dont have time to sit their and ponder shit like this anymore.
